Writing Everyday for a week

I’ve read stories of people writing everyday for a year to either, one improve their writing skills, or two make passive income off of Medium or some other writing provider.

Now, personally money would be nice. Who doesn’t want more money? But that’s not why I’m doing it. I’ve always viewed myself as a bad writer. As you read this you’ll see the bad grammar, things misspelled, and poor sentence structure. You name it I’ll probably mess it up.

I’ve decided I’m going to spend a week away from everything that I use to distract myself from becoming the writer I want to be. Will I improve while trying to write everyday? I’ll let who ever ends up reading this series be the judge of that. Before anyone says it, yes I know a week isn’t enough time to significantly improve my writing skills. But we’ll see the outcome as I continue growing, who knows maybe this hobby will actually stick and I’ll go two weeks, then three, and then maybe even make it to a month….I wouldn’t count on that but who knows?

A little back story if you haven’t read anything I’ve written or for some reason come across my twitter. I have ADHD, and I have a new idea, or a new hobby almost weekly. I’m starting to find that exhausting, but I just get bored way to fast to maintain anything for very long.

So with this short day one post done, let’s see what happens tomorrow. I’ll be driving most of the day to my destination so who knows what kind of writing prompts I’ll think of. Well honestly, I’ll probably talk about the other thing I’m challenging myself with, which is to cut out all but essential electronics for this coming week as well. I’ll have to use my computer for work, and have my phone on hand for work calls. But other than that, it’s going to be an analog week. Wish me luck and I hope all goes well.

Oh Hi! I write stuff about my struggles with ADHD and procrastinating, and what ever really comes to mind at the time.
